The course starts with the theory of operation and design of rolling element and fluid film bearings. It then moves on to vibration analysis techniques by establishing the appripriate hardware & software selection and setup for trending and diagnosis. The course then covers FFT Spectrum and Time Domain Analysis for the purpose of identifying specific rolling element and fluid film bearing faults.
Course Length
Minimum 8 hours. Four 2 hour sessions, 2 times a week for 2 weeks.
