Students who successfully complete this course will be able to fully understand the mathematical modeling behind FFT processing, perform Time Domain Analysis, compute and apply the Frequency Response Function, and apply vibration control techniques such as absorbers, isolation and damping. Students will be introduced to reciprocating machinery analysis, as well as machine tool spindle enveloping and paper machine roll analysis. This class is intended for maintenance technicians and engineers who want an advanced course in vibration analysis.
